Still rocking with my iPad 3. I mainly use it for reading, watching Netflix whenever I'm not around the tv, and watching movies.
I have had every iPad. I love every one of them.
I read books though, a lot of black people don't. Its awesome for that, and it keeps notes for you that you can email to yourself.
Coli on my iPad is cool too. Texting. Keeping notes.
The iPad replaces the paper, so think of things you would use a piece of paper for, and it excels at that amongst other things.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4" tablet, I love it, I use it for remote desktop connections, web surfing while on the couch or in the bed, and in the car it's my aux media player. Bought a glass screen protector and a Poetic hard case for it. It is light as hell without the case.

I got this bootleg jawn off Ali for 100 bucks. It has the latest Android plus 32 gigs of storage so basically I put all the apps and games I dont wont to wear my phone down with on there. 
I have a ipad three. I use my tablet for Internet browsing and reading ebooks. I use my PC and phone more than my tablet and I only use my tablet when laying in the bed or traveling on vacation and I don't want to take a laptop.

I'm thinking about buying the Galaxy Tab E 16 GB... 9.6 inch for $199.
But you can call and textI can't justify spending the money on one.
It's just a bigger version of my phone without calling/texting
