This year’s draft got Dylan Harper and Cooper Flagg who make for some nice back-up pieces to Cade and Paolo/Chet.

Then you got Dybantsa, Boozer and Koa Peat next year.

I think people are sleeping. USA’s youth talent absolutely been blowing out international competition the last few years and they’ll have a good amount of NBA experience by 2028. It was basically three years of the most lopsided wins for FIBA U16/U17/U18 play.
If Dylan Harper is projected to be a rotational piece in 2028, then Team USA already lost.

And that's got nothing to do with Harper's ability as a hooper, but it means that all the other experienced players who should be ahead of him have failed. Our youth talent blowing out the international competition ain't gonna mean a cotdamn thing for 2028. They won't be playing against those players at the next Olympics.

It’s interesting that there are no A-level superstars in this group, depending on how you feel about Tatum.

We got three more seasons.
That's my biggest concern, and I spoke about this in detail after the last Olympics.

If the old ass Voltron didn't end up making the trip to France this past summer, Team USA wouldn't have brought the Gold home. Instead of all the sympathy for Tatum not getting any gametime, cats would've called for him not to be allowed back in the country. On one hand, time is on their side to develop someone who can rise to that level, but then that same time is going to benefit cats like Wemby and all the complementary pieces around him who're steadily leveling up too.

Yeah, we still got time, but I would be worried about Wemby in three years.

Wemby will be stupid in three years, to the point I've already come to the acknowledgment that Team USA won't have a player on his level, especially given he'll be on his revenge shyt after what happened in his homeland. And then you add in players like your mans Coulibaly, who's been leveling up recently, and Sarr and Risacher, who'll only get better with each passing season, and it could get spooky.

Yeah, I been noticing it with France too.

I just don't see any guard play for them.

3.5 to 4 years is a long time, so time can heal wounds. But the Olympic team has to guarantee Steve "not coaching shyt" Kerr is not apart of Team USA whatsoever
So tired of this referendum.

According to some on here, the US is going to be in trouble because we don't have any young talent :laff: :laff: :laff: :laff:
