right now every team is over .500

Cincinnati 7-3-1/ 2-1 in the division swept baltimore, lost to browns
Baltimore 7-4/1-3 in the division. beat the browns
Steelers 7-4/2-2 in the division. split with the browns and split with balt
Browns 7-4/ 2-2 in the division. lost to balt and steelers, beat cinci.

EDIT: records will be updated every week

so were 8 games in and it's safe to say this is the most competitive division in football. none of them are dropping below .500 anytime soon. the browns play the bucs this week and the rest of them are 2 game above .500

so who wins the division? :patrice: as of right now I would say Baltimore. they've seemed the most consistent so far out of the four teams

simply because the Bengals seem weird. they started off so well and then fell off a little bit but seem to have gotten themselves back right. but who knows how well the rest of the season will go.

steelers are either hot or cold I wouldn't be surprised if the ravens decisively beat them this week. they're offense will be elite every other week. I need to see them string it along a little bit longer

browns lost Mack and since then the running game has been turrible. but we've had a 3 game streak against horrible teams so hopefully we'll get things fixed by the time we play the bengals on thursday night football.
and we get Gordon back starting in game 11 where we play the falcons.

truth be told I wouldn't be surprised if every team finished 9-7 or better:whoo:

How many superbowls reside in the division? :sas1:If they don't come close to the NFC east then ain't shyt to talk about. From all I know they only have one marquee divisional matchup that all of football might tune into and that only the steeler-ravens:upsetfavre:. Not on the level of the NFC east. :lolbron:The cowboys are a bigger rival to the steelers than the ravens....

:what:

Mostly everything you said was false:ufdup:

Since the AFC North was started in 2002, the AFC North has won 3 Super Bowls with 2 different teams winning the SB compared to 2 SB wins by the NFC East both won by the Giants.

Second the Steeler vs Ravens and Steelers vs Browns are 2 of the biggest rivalry games in the NFL and no....the Cowboys are not a bigger rival:camby:

Third, the AFC North harbors 4 of the Top 10 WRs in the NFL (Antonio Brown, AJ Green, Josh Gordon, and Steve Smith Sr) as well as 2 of the top 5 RBs in rushing yards this season (Le'Veon Bell and Justin Forsett), 2 of the top 5 offenses in the NFL (Steelers and Ravens), and 2 of the Top 10 Defenses in the NFL in points allowed (Browns and Ravens).

Fourth, the AFC North has an overall record of 18-11-1 this season for a 62% win pct while the NFC East has a 16-12 record for a 57% win pct.

I say all that to say this.....

Look at the point differential.....

Cincinnati is the only team in the red...and they are #1.

:dead:

This is going to be a blood bath over the next 8 weeks.
everything is so tight even though I said I expect the ravens to come out on top I wouldn't be surprised if any of them did

yes even the browns and thats not just the fan in me talking:mjpls:

Sad thing is that it's been like this for a while. Even though the Browns have been complete trash for the most part go back and look at the head to head games between these teams
