I'm well aware that he went to Harvard but graduating from there at 19 (or whatever young age it was) doesnt erase the many mistakes he made along the way. Cassie was mistake #1, not playing his position with Puff was mistake #2, not laying in the cut as a producer/writer was mistake #3, trying to rap was mistake #4 and putting up a $1 million "reward" for that damn laptop was the biggest mistake of them all.

and with his talent he still could've been salvageable but you KNOW Puff wont let this dude get any placements. Only way he's gonna come back is if he has absolute fire, which I doubt he has.

Ryan could ate for at least 5 years after that Cassie bullshyt by feeding a dude like Usher whose music is as fukk these days but then used that connect to get them pop music placements, working with fukkboys like Bieber and Miley and them.

Ryan refused to take that L and just Produce. He wanted to sing, whine and bytch on songs about his bytch getting knocked when he coulda been selling those same songs to Usher/Trey Songz/Chris Brown and hopefully one day got a Beyoncé or Rihanna placement (which would did wonders for his career)

Now the dude is on this rap shyt and it just doesn't work. At all. This producer-turned-artist shyt works for only a handful of people (Pharrell, Dream [sorta] and NEYO) but them dudes still can fall back on getting placements on A lister albums.

Breh, Dream is best as a writer and producer. Love vs Money is my shyt but lets not act like dude got some struggle vocals. His strengths are clearly behind the boards/pen
