Disagree. The production matched the songs... what did you want, a Timbaland beat for Hail Mary?
Pac's music was able to standout because around that time Hip Hop wasn't as controlled, stripped, sanctioned, and pussified as it is now. There were more leeway to say what you want to say and was hardly no focus on catering to the billboards like that. A group like the Geto Boys couldn't come out in today's bytchmade society
