There's so much wrong here I don't even know where to begin. I'd almost say it's a parody of all these "underdog overcoming the odds" scenes (including the cheesy music), but the director isn't smart/good enough.

I was surprised how high it is on the imdb 250, I mean decent film but best ever?

Must be racists hyping it up for the stomp scene, I think they missed the point of the movie.

Never liked the movie like that, always thought it was overrated, by closet racists and people who wanted to be edgy, or who really didn't know much about movies in general, but wanted to add to the conversation....

Haven't seen it in probably 10 years, but at that Ed Norton reverse dunk at the end, the director should that scene very oddly, considering the movie....should have just made it very simple and harsh, brief, ugly and realistic, not some shyt out of sports movie
