The word bro has become one of the most common word in American vernacular. It’s so common both men and women use to to reference each other . It has changed NYC vernacular almost killing the word Kid And Son.

Bro is clearly from Cali West Coast influence :king:
You can't have no woman who is not your sister calling you bro

Nah... fukk all that.

That's straight surf board cracker shyt

We had all kinds of terms/slang other than bro.

A muthafuka would say "bro" to you... He was a cop or some corny nikka trying to be down

:manny: I grew up in Ohio and spent time in Michigan, and I heard all types of black people say it I’m almost 40

Wow. Gotcha

I couldn't imagine it tho. It wouldn't sound right to me coming out of another black persons mouth.

If he said "brother". I would get it. Thinking he's a Muslim or righteous katt.

Matter of fact, maybe I've heard it used in an aggressive manner before

Basically, Bro, Bruh, Brehz has replaced 'You Guys' for northerners, I cant speak for the south but we all know they are going to hold it down
