Let's talk about the masterclass in strategy that Kendrick displayed in the battle: superpowers got neutralized :wow:.

This wasn't a master class.

All you had to do was look at what Drake did with Meek Mill and Pusha T.

Drake requires a lot just to release a song. He treats every song like it has to be a hit single.

Kendrick simply went for quantity. He knew when Drake took the time to make a video for his diss that it was his best shot. He unloaded to clip. But he also anticipated Kendrick take a long time to respond, and by then it would've been possibly too late.

Like I said before, Kendrick slow rolled Drake. This has been 10 years in the making. So when Kendrick fired the first direct shot, he was already 3 steps ahead of Drake.

He even turned Drakes biggest ally against him. Social Media.

This isn’t true. Drake steamrolled Meek, so I don’t even get that context. He let Drake gather too much inertia, and then dropped a wack rebuttal and that was it. The Pusha T beef, Drake dropped out after shooting the first shot, but got hit by scud a missile. He “allegedly” had a career ending diss on deck for Pusha T, but decided not to drop it for varying reasons depending on who’s telling the story.

Family Matters is a legit bop, but Kendrick took so much steam out of that track releasing right on top of it. Like Budden was saying, Family Matters gets 90% of rappers out of the paint. Whether it was intentional or luck, releasing MTG at the same time was a stroke of genius. For my money, I don’t think it was something that was happenstance. Kendrick knew what he was doing. Indeed, that’s a masterclass.

Again, you’re actually supporting that Kendrick put on a masterclass 😂. You saw what social media did to Meek when he went against Drake. How do you go from that to what we witnessed with Kendrick?

You don’t get it.

It’s not about “bars” with Drake. To defeat him all you have to do is embarrass him publicly. He cares about image. He cares about social media. He’s superficial and don’t care about the culture.

Meek Mill was in a lose lose position. The fact that Drake even battled him in the first place automatically made him the winner in the public’s eyes. Meek called Drake out the same way Kendrick did.

Pusha T basically went the exposing route while once again calling him a fraud. Drake didn’t respond because he had nothing. Period.

As for Kendrick, he learned that Drake has 2 song max. That’s it. And since everything is heavily scrutinized on social media, you have to strike back quickly. By waiting 2 weeks Kendrick merely gave Drake enough time to prepare to shoot his full clip and simply came back with more content.

This beef is 10 years old. Kendrick has been waiting for this moment for years. He got way more content to drop that he will probably never release.

Like Kane said, the game is different now. It used to be 1 diss a peace and that was it. Now you gotta go multiple rounds and try to out meme nikkas. Kendrick dumbed down his music to appeal to slow fans and embarrassed Drake. Light work.

man there's layers to his movement.
Even Euphoria and 616 in LA , although dope, was restrained purposely to bait Drake into thinkin Kdot doesn't have some REAL shyt on him OR a banger in him. :wow:

Drake should have learned from the Pusha beef to not instantly go in with the wifey angle. You don't enrage an opponent when you haven't learned their patterns. Drake doesn't do well in chaotic situations, he has more to lose brand wise when shyt flies off the handle.
Which is still :mindblown: that he STILL went with that angle. Like WHY does he ALWAYS go down that route? He ALWAYS aims for the wives because he knows that’s a sensitive spot and it could make his enemy not think straight.

See that WOULD work if you didn’t have skeletons in your closet ya dumb fukk :gucci:

Like wouldn’t have dawn on Drake that Kendrick could have called up Pusha and they would have compared notes on the dirt they know about him?

The fact he didn’t take Kendrick serious as his peer is what did him in. The fact he kept thinking that Kendrick was like the other rappers he deals with on social media is what did him in.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he took advice from Akademiks, Mal, and Adin Ross on how to move. That man literally relied on the gossip his fans dug up from LIPSTICK ALLEY for content..:mindblown:

Dude wasn’t always this messy, he was calculated and knew how to move. This was just messy.

Quite honestly this battle should be studied on what to do and what NOT to do.

He keeps making the same mistake.

I was telling people Pusha was not Meek when that kicked off and so many of you all swore it would be light work for Drake.

Meek had all the tools to beat Drake but he was too stupid to execute anything correctly.

Fast forward later, Drake is still too arrogant to take his only true peer seriously in a beef that’s been brewing for damn near a decade and yet again takes the wife / gf route.

Drake was trolling on social media about Kendrick not having anything to drop while the entire time Kendrick was scheming on him.

Kendrick write a lot, he just takes his time to deliver quality.
1 album every 3/4 year with high quality standard is awesome.

Meet the Grahams insidious tonal switch after Family Matters and the timing he did it was foot on neck season. S*** was akin to having a crazy half-court sequence and scoring at the end of the shot clock only for Kenny to inbound and pull

this s***.
