Well how unfortunate for you...Ive been a good ass athlete all my life and my dad didn't mind dropping the money on the shoes I wanted when he felt I was old enough to take care of them plus I had an older brother who put me on...nikkaz was getting killed in the 90's over J's, Reebok Pumps....even British Knights but that was more gang related...sneakers in LA were always a big thing...shyt I remember when LA Gears dropped and the next day everyone at school had them....it may have seemed underground because it was easy at the time to get alot of releases but that hype was always there....
