a hawley from a lab is no more than $50 and charging patients $250!! Those require strong compliance over time, and I've run across people that say you can stop wearing them in 2 years??

I feel you. I was trying to be real, and compliance with a hawley is not something that anyone wants to do... they want it, but it's not realistic for the expectation of your teeth not shifting. You know as well as I do that they shift fast.

Lots of milk. I would dreank 2 liter Dr. Pepper all the time as a kid and never brush, not one cavity until like 15 though. Just drink milk, no more cavities.

Edit: Yes I brush and floss and use mouthwash now

Not sure. The sooner you take care of it, the better. If it's a molar, your body by nature wants those teeth to meet eachother when you bite down. It will affect your bite, and other molars, also considering that the rest of your teeth will work to take the slack of that missing tooth.

Don't even bother unless you're rich or have a decent insurance plan

They're about 1000$ + PER TOOTH

And you have to get them redone every couple of years
