You Won't See Me Tonight was single, just no video:sadcam:

Imagine Aaliyah and Nas going back and forth on some fly late 90s vibe, with Hype directing it:ahh:

I always envisioned Nas could have dropped epic videos for Project Window, Ur Da Man, Poison, Drunk By Myself, and Heaven:ohlawd:

I know u have this thing against Aaliyah but u buggin..first off.. Album came out in the spring...so I don't know why u talkin bout the summer..also.. Mad chicks loved the song...I remember the shyt like it happened yesterday...shyt was after the Doctor Dolittle joint so people was feelin Aaliyah..plus u had the timbaland beat...like I said.. shyt was getting played on the radio even tho it wasn't a single..there's people who still don't realize that it wasn't a single..

ive never actually discredited aalyiah, if thats what youre trying to get at. i just keep it real, and you never actually disagreed with anything i said in that thread either, because you know its the truth.

obviously, it wouldve been a summer single, if it was gonna follow up nas is like/hate me now. lol. and it had very little energy, like dude said. thats not a good look for a commercial summer single. not to mention, timbaland obviously gave him a throwaway beat.

mad chicks loved every song that came on the radio, especially if it had an r&b hook. i dont think youre taken into consideration just how heavy that time period was. this wouldve been a moderate hit at best.
