I had Windows 8 Pro for some months now,
I wish,
That I never installed it,
On my iMac and MacBook Pro,
And would have kept my copy of Windows 7 installed instead.

We'll be revisiting this. And you will cop pleas. Just like you're doing now.

The only reason people have Windows 8 now is because it comes on their new laptop they just bought.

No one is willingly going out and copping this shyt. No one. The numbers don't lie dog. Like...WTF...
I'm actually quite pleased with it. My laptop runs runs fast as heck too. Zero lag. :whew:

6 gigs of ram though :yeshrug:

what's the big deal about having a start menu when you have the global search function? I wish I understood people's irrational attachment to having the start menu. Its funny because Windows 10 really doesn't have a start menu. when you hit the button all it does is bring up the metro style start screen shrunk down to just the lower corner of the desktop. It's still the same screen you get when you press the Windows key on 8.

it's a smaller metro section next to the actual start menu that everyone loves, and the global sesrch on the botyom. It's perfect

Its the metro screen shrunk down. As for what you're calling the start menu that's just a bunch of shortcuts which if people haven't noticed you can pin to the taskbar itself and not have to even bring up that menu.

Even the Windows 7 start menu is pointless

It's just a bunch of shortcuts you could pin on your taskbar and if you right click on the start button in Windows 8.1 the menu it brings up is way better than that.
