So if he didn't turn himself in what do you think would have happened?

They woulda kicked in his door and beat his ass. His pops wasn't exaggerating. Cops are a gang and he damaged their property. They woulda said he was resisting and torn his ass up.

Either that or he coulda left town and had this shyt hanging over his head for the rest of his life.

Hes 18. All he has is misdemeanor charges. Courts are tryna be some bytches and set an example. But end of the day he has community ties, he has a job, hes young, he turned himself in. Once he gets a lawyer worst theyll be able to hit him with is probation.

And i wouldn't be surprised if they ended up lowering that bail or putting him on house arrest at the next bail hearing.

I'm appalled that the judge would even set that type of bail. But he won't be doing any serious time and he did the best thing he could do in that situation.

And there is also another scenario where the cops would keep looking for the kid until they eventually give up and realize there is more important shyt happening in Baltimore than spending dept resources hunting a 18 year old with misdemeanor charges. Cops want his ass they gotta find him.

i dont know bout this particular case, but misdemeanor vandalism can be upgraded to felony if damage is in excess of $1000.

For all we know they already had a warrant out for him. For all we know they were waiting for a judge to sign a search warrant to kick his door.

Warrants don't just disappear. Everything is computerized. They don't have to spend money looking for him. All they gotta do is wait for some minor traffic stop five years from now. Or for him to attempt to travel outside of the country. Law is not a joke. And they WANT you to try and run so they can say you're a savage and rack up extra charges on you. Best thing to do is sit your ass down and face the music.
