- livin' in L.A. when the Dodgers had the Rookie of The Year every year for a stretch :lawd:

- dudes trying to steal 3 bases every time they got on

- Chilli Davis breakin' bats over his knee

- Hideo Nomo's windup

- fat dudes being dominant: Kirby, Gwynn, Kevin Mitchell, Mo Vaughn

- Barry Bonds never winnin' chit :D

- Smoltz ironing a shirt while wearing it :krs:

this night :blessed:

there as a rain delay along hte east coast so this game (Boston/Cleveland) and Seattle/New York were both in rain delay. (and this was when MLB were desperate to get on TV after the strike that they signed a shyt contract with NBC/ABC and the playoff games were on at the same time but split on regional coverage:aicmon:)

Those bytchass Red Sox were talking shyt about Belle's bat, and saying it was corked (probably was, tbh). He hit this HR around like 1 am after the rain delay and in the 11th inning and hit that pose. :wow:

Cleveland won that game on a walk off HR by Tony Pena (before it was called a walk off).

In the other game, Griffey was swagging in Yankees stadium. He hit 2 HRs in his first two at bats

There were so many the iconic moments on that series, one was Jim Leyritz walk off HR in game 2.

I love October baseball. :to:

rewatching this shyt.....we NEED a gif from 2:58 - 3:04 :dead:

:whew: @ at that head shot to Jim Leyrtiz from the big unit....forgot about that shyt :merchant:

speaking of Nomo, remember when he pitched that no hitter at Coors Field in the height of that home run/juiced team era?

Yup.

The 1996 Derby....probably the best one ever. Although the ones at Coors and Fenway were pretty awesome too.

But in the 96 one...I think Barry hit like 3 or 4 HRs on his final out to win it...and finished with the greatest bat flip in history
