Hi, I'm Walt McClure. You may remember me from such predictions as: Duke will play for the championship and Creighton will make the Final Four and Doug McDermott will have at least two 35-40 point games in the tournament.

Well, I'm back with some special Sweet 16 insights that are sure to make you stacks of money.

Dayton over Stanford: because Coach Kampf's disciples always suck. Always.

Wisconsin over Baylor: because Drew is a moron and Bo Ryan aka Count Chocula has enough size on his side to neutralize Baylor's bigs.

Arizona and Florida won't lose: because UCLA is inconsistent and the Wear twins are garbage. And because Arizona is doing it for all Beige nikkas all over the country.

Tennessee over Michigan: because TN's size is overwhelming and Michigan has a habit of breaking its fans hearts when they have the talent to do big things. Expect a lot of missed 3s and dumb turnovers.

Iowa State over UConn: because UConn sucks.

Louisville over Kentucky: because Pitino is, was, and always will be a better coach than Cal

Michigan State over Virginia: because it turns out the ACC was the most overrated conference in the country this season, and there's too much legit talent on MSU for them to lose this game.

Add on...

March Madness sucks.

3 days of games and then a week rest? What kind of madness is that?

nikkas tryna jump on the Tennessee bandwagon now? :mjlol:

Wrong timing.

Michigan's gonna beat the brakes off the Vols.

People thought Texas' size was gonna be a problem for Blue.. and while it kinda was .. Texas had to deal with what we brought to the table also.

And they couldn't. :troll:

Vols out for revenge after 2011. :birdman:

I've been seeing a LOT of MSU > UVA picks, and I think that's a mistake. It's usually not smart to bet against Izzo in March, but the Cavs' D is just on another level, they force you to play at their pace, and as was kind of said earlier they don't beat themselves.

I also think that regular season-ending loss to the Terps (:smugfavre:) woke 'em up a little and forced them to refocus for the tourney(s)....they've looked really locked in ever since.

Their D is nasty? All I know is that on all of their highlights, they seem to have shooters all over over the place. :lupe:

Yeah, but they still benefitted from playing an easy ACC schedule, and it turns out the ACC teams haven't performed well in the tourney, so they played an easy schedule in a conference where even a difficult schedule wouldn't have meant all that much. MSU has two bonafide NBA talents, and I believe in Izzo despite how cliche it has become to hype his coaching. And if MSU can get a 7-10 point lead, UVA isn't a team I expect to play well from behind.

Given the strength of my initial predictions, I must be 100% right.

Yeah, they play great D. Same as last year, but this year the offense is better. They're the Wisconsin of the ACC.
