what does this have to do with YOU tho...absolutely nothing
you control what you listen to, not some hype machine
if some hype machine does, you're what you look down on.....a freaking sheep

Trust me, I would have to force myself to listen to some of the stuff out today. A catchy beat? I'll wait until my favorite artist raps over it, this is what kept me well fed since 2003.

Stay Scheming came out, I only listen to the Joe Budden version.

So, I'm not affected.

I'm on one w/Drake came out, I only listen to the Uncle Murda version. :yayo:

I could never complain, I have too much music to listen too, waiting on that new Rockness and Black Rob. Who am I to complain? There's more music out than ever because of mixtapes and artists stop being lazy. Even Ar-Ab got of Cassidy couch, and been making noise. We are in a whole new reality.

It doesn't play a big part in my life. The last 10 years have been :whew:. Especially '03 to '07 when the Canadians were riding for Dip Set and blessed us with imaginative ways to stan with their threads, lingo, and compulsiveness.

Yo this shyt got me dying for some reason :laff:
@Suicide King isn't lying though. I watch my younger cousins in high school and college and this nikka is their definition of real. He's Nas to these nikkas. "Crooked Smile" (which is an awful record and I like Cole) is like their "I Can" (which in retrospect was :patrice:). As for Kendrick, all the hate he's getting on here is directly a result of people making it sacrilegious not to fawn over his every syllable on here.

Ok. Let's run down a lil timeline here daddyos

February 2011 - Kendrick Lamar appears on XXL Freshmen list, with some trash ass mixtapes under his belt and not even an album out

July 2011 - Kendrick releases overrated internet album/mixtape Section 80. It receives critical acclaim, exclusively by white hipsters from California and cornball brothers with internet access. It's estimated 95% of the American population still has no idea who the fukk he is at this point

August 2011 - 1 month later Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre crown Kendikk Lamear the New King Of The West Coast.

Now, maybe i'm missing something here but how desperate and thirsty and pathetic do you have to be to call a nikka with one 3.5/5 internet album the king of your fukking coast. If Jigga and Nas tried to do that with a nikka like Joey Badass or ASAP Rocky it would be seen as a joke and rightfully so

but these fluorescent-coloured skinny jeans wearin "jerkers" were so hungry and thirsty for someone from the west to get behind, they cosigned it, and without realizing it, made their whole hiphop scene look that much lamer and noobish

now just remember:

I told you 4 years ago that this nikka was going to blow up

an artist like that couldn't stay underground, it was impossible for him not to blow up.
s80 and gkmc are basically the only albums I have bought since 2005.

Is the OP trying to discredit Kendrick's skills or his success. Either way the nikka makes good music and the hype machine shyt is nothing new.

Pretty much another pointless Kendrick Lamar hate thread. Actually you know what, Scratch that West Coast hate thread.

At the end of the day you'll still be faced with the reality that the nikka is making dat piff :ohlawd:
