Use whatever personal criteria you want. I'm personally going by importance and impact. Here's how I have it:

1st Tier: These are the quintessential members in my opinion. The Wu doesn't reach nearly the same success without their involvement.

1. RZA
2. Method Man
3. Ghostface
4. Raekwon

2nd Tier: These are excellent MCs but pretty one dimensional. But they do their job and do it well.

5. Inspectah Deck
6. GZA

3rd Tier: These are important members and bring their own unique flavor to the stew that is the Wu. If they were gone you'd notice it but they're not as important as the others.

7. ODB
8. U-God

4th Tier: These members could be gone and the group wouldn't miss a beat.

9. Masta Killa
10. Capadonna

DISCLAIMER: I know people are going to have objections with my ranking... but that's fine. The beauty of the Wu is that their strength is in them being a collective. I understand that removing anybody (except the bottom two :mjpls: ) would have a major effect, so try to see where I'm coming from.

Overall:

Rza
Ghost
Gza
Meth
Raekwon
ODB
Deck
Masta Killa
Cappadonna
U-God.

Ghost has my favorite discography, in their primes Gza would be my favorite rapper.

I definitely would rank Masta Killa and Cappa over U-God.

Cappa had a solid album (The Pillage) and he was featured prominently on Ironman and that was probably his best work. Winter Warz verse is classic.

Masta Killa had some good verses on a lot of Wu projects and his album No Said Date was decent.

U-God has always been :trash: He was clearly the weakest link and his solo album was the worst album by any of the 10 members.

That's fair. I just never been a big fan of Cappadonna. :manny:

Masta Killa is so monotone and uninteresting that I write him off. I give U-God points for personality and mic presence. He sucks solo but he brings a lot to the track when paired with other members.

I’m not much of a Cappa fan either. He had bars on Ironman on though. He, Rae and Ghost had great chemistry on that album.

Surprised you have ODB so high on the MC list. He didn't even write his rhymes.
