I watched the video and I don't see the correlation with UH
Then you didnt pay attention.
Basically UH is saying free insulin.
But you don't need insulin, you need to free yourself of sugar.

Nothing about UH is preventive.
And of course this is just one example.

That only matters if the disease in question is related to weight gain or food. People who have genetic disorders or other diseases that have nothing to do with their diet still need affordable care. Universal healthcare is a good thing and likely will put in incentives for preventative care to keep costs down.

The other alternative is the government regulating what people can eat in order to keep them healthy. That really wouldn't go well and would definitely be considered an overreach.

People who dont care of their health should pay the bulk of taxes to subsidize UH.

Also you talk of other diseases, many which are an epidemic in the U.S but not anywhere near an epidemic in other countries.

Need more preventive care

The people you're suggesting should pay the most are those that are the least likely to be able to afford to. Most people who eat like crap do so because they can't afford better food, don't have access to better food near them or haven't been educated on healthy eating habits because those in power don't care about them. Penalizing people for being poor is how we got into this situation in the first place.

Ever been to the south?
Breh, because of work I have been in almost all states.
What you are saying isn't entirely untrue but i've met & seen tooooo manyyyyy peoole that are fine financially & are obese & eat like shyt.
The food they eat, I would feel so guilty to eat even one of these meals a month, but they eat it everyday even several times a day.

See the problem is you mentioned pre-existing conditions then you mentioned finances, so in both cases you are ignoring those, that are large in number, that don't fall into these categories.

But not only that, I am not only saying eat better & it will solve the problem for low income families.
I am saying politicians shoudnt only scream UH, they should speak on other things too.
For example canada recently banned trans-fats in restaurants.
Canada also banned all the drugs they put into cows that makes its way into our milk.

So, i'm saying there is no preventive talk, it is all reactive.
I've been to amsterdam like 4 times.
Everyone goes to cafes, pubs, pastry shops, and smoke weed.
But they don't over eat & their food isnt disgustingly full of fat.
These people drink quite alot, but I didnt see any obese people, i didnt even see fat people.

I don't think you understand what "exposed" means
It exposes that you don’t know what the fukk you are talking about.

The entire point of UH is preventative medicine for a more healthy populace that would result in less money being spent on healthcare.
