Can we for once on the coli not have a discussion trying to shift blame on the black victims in a desperate attempt to somehow it being their fault for facing racism in a white dominated society?
That's why there's always push back when someone suggests Black people stop patronizing these institutions and choose HBCU's instead. Black people keep fighting to exist in places they aren't wanted instead of going to places where they're welcomed with open arms.

By making a choice to attend an institution that honors racists and then wanting that institution to remove the racist symbolism.
By making a choice to attend a predominantly white institution and then wanting "safe spaces" where whites aren't allowed.
We really need to think about investing more into HBCUs.
I can do that with no problems. But this is where I think MLK and and the other who fought for equality got it wrong...
At what point do we stop fighting for the "seat at the table"? It's painfully obvious they don't want us there. When do we make our own table? Asians do it. And as much as we like to makke fun of Mexicans, they're doing it too. We're up against it and instead of finding away around it we're steadily running into the same damn wall.
Going to Princeton when there are hundreds of universities that cater to black people is complicity.
