That is not a Christian thing. That is what he chose to do. Don't mix the objectives of a man with that of Christianity.

God makes it very clear within the Bible what people ought to do.

But the problem is picking and choosing which verse to use as the standard from hundreds of pages and many testimonies.

If you really study what was going on in Noah's day and how it relates to Sodom and Gomorrah it's pretty deep. When the men started to go after the angels and violate boundaries between the physical and spiritual realm God had to put a stop to it. Even though most of the men of Sodom didn't know the two "men" were angels because according to the bible they called the angels "men". That's how bad their sinful state was. If you go back to Noah's day the bible tells you that the Sons of God which we now know became fallen angels went in to the daughters of men and had intercourse which created the Nephilim which are where giants came from. Those creatures were direct enemies of God and God's plan for mankind. A lot of times men, going after what feels good to them, align themselves with the plans of the enemies of God (unknowingly or knowingly) which also makes them enemies of God in the process.

Reading these stories reminds me why I left the church at 16.
