Free yourselves. The Bible condones slavery, genocide, sexism and other terrible things. Most people only believe in it because they were brainwashed at a young age. Anytime you asked a question about something that is a clear contradiction or inhumane they quote bible verses or talk in circles to defend it. No one knows what happens after you die but thinking that heaven or hell is the likely outcome is a reach. That’s why religion is the perfect scam; you don’t know if any of your “faith” will payoff until it’s too late.
I grew up in the church and remember being punished for asking questions about “god” that didn’t make sense. Why? Because the adults were brainwashed to the point where you couldn’t question anything. Striking fear into people is the biggest method used to keep religion going.
Why would you follow anything that doesn’t make sense to you? And when you ask questions you’re treated like a “devil”?
