Well deserved. With better booking he could've been way bigger. Between Flair never wanting to lose to him and the dumb ass Summerslam finish with Yoko he got fukked back with booking.

Few wrestlers had the hood on lock like Lex Luger... idk if it was the name but EVERYONE fukked with him heavy in the 90s. Torture rack is also a GOAT level finisher. I rember my big cousin putting put me in it all the time lmao.

Same here. ‘96-‘98 were his best years as a pro wrestler imo. He had more experience in the ring, got over organically and was booked as a strong powerful babyface that was a threat to Hogan & the NWO.I was a huge Luger Stan in 1997 and 1998. I'm glad he's getting in while he's still alive.
After 99 it got dicey….The total package heel gimmick had some potential but it had no chance with how horrible WCW was at that point. Plus he wasn’t the same guy and was starting to fall apart in real life.
