Lex’s influence on the genre is definitely bigger, there’s no doubt about that but if we talking about pure talent then I’m going to go with Metro Boomin. His beats are more versatile. Lex’s beats are too repetitive and it aged pretty badly compared to Metro’s.

Dude, Metro and DJ Mustard took Lex spot at around 2014 and then Metro overtook both of them the next year.
