It's Metro by a wide margin. Lex's production sounds dated as hell...

These sounds dated?

Yall gotta stop saying this because its not true. Did yall even listen to Lex post 2012? Seriously. Lex MADE these nikkas change their style when he did. I wish I could embed links from VK man. Lex incorporated elements of different genres into his repertoire in 2013 and beyond

I definetly enjoyed listening to both of their production in songs. Looking at some of the songs that I thought were Metro are co-produced with Southside. I can't really distinguish between both of their styles to hear who produced most of the beat.

Post more songs here are some of the ones that I've liked that aren't in here

Metro

Luger

Not to mention Metro got ALL his sauce from Lex, and working with Sizzle and TM.

Thats why

ALSO

First beat produced by Metro, Sonny and Southside

Second beat produced by Lex. And Lex smoked them.

Juicy J and Lex made a lot of bangers together. I do remember Lex switching his style up on a mixtape but I forget what it's called. It was more edm but I don't think its the one he did with A-Trak, if you know please let me know. I remember hearing it on Datpiff and I'm trying to go back and see wwhat it was but that site sucks in 2022. I don't think it was the tape he did with Curren$y either.

I was hoping Lex would get more work after he switched his sound. I know Mike Will changed his sound and was able to stay on the charts with his songs but Idk why Lex was forgotten about.

If someone else can distinguish between Metro and Southside when they work together let me know please. I'm interested in knowing.

Youre either talking about Down South Mex (the tape he did with Cartel MGM)

or The Lex Luger Experience

And as far as Metro and Southside working, you mean calling out who does what (hi hats, drum patterns, chords, etc?

Another thing @Duke Dixon Southside and Metro share sounds (they're REALLY close to one another, like brothers. Southside mentored him back in the early BSM days) so it'd probably be pointless to assume one guy did this and the other guy did that.

Yea exactly. I was listening to Hercules and Trap nikkas where they both did the beat solo then listening to Digital Dash because it sounds like Hercules.

Ok Digital Dash is kind of an easy one lol(probably since its kind of an older collab and the the 2 kind of just put their elements together)

Metro did keys that sounds like rhodes piano over a woodwind instrument as a bassline; and the snare.

Could be wrong here but that 808 sounds very Southside'ish. Only thing Im truly stomped by is the drum pattern...

Southside did the hi hats and the keys that sound like lasers (it sounds reversed kind of, so he might've used Effectrix; one of his secrete weapons lol) . Use this song for reference which is produced entirely by Southside
