Cloud gaming on the rise?
U.S customers will be the last to get it and pay the most for the speeds
If it's affordable microsoft gonna jump on this and hopefully we can get to the real next gen
will cable providers be able to deliver at this speed though?
unless this is the case then it would be like pouring a glass of water into and empty pool...
Providers can already do 40gb using oc768, the problem is cost and infrastructure.
if cost and infrastructure are prohibiting factors then the potential speeds cannot be met.
the infrastructure is what really matters.
can the connections to the home provide the same speed as the li-fi?
if not then the point is moot.
Porn with the lights on??
The point isn't moot, just don't expect it to have it any time soon. Prices will fall and infrastructure will catch up, it just might take a decade.
infrastructure is the big problem.
i don't think that america should leave it up to the corporations that either.
updating the hardware that makes up our nation's internet should be a national priority spearheaded by the government.
