As for a reference, Klay was a lottery pick and two time, first team all Pac 10 out of Washington State in 3 years there. He had proven himself at the collegiate level as an elite shooter and great defender

I explained everything I meant. Draft day, Klay was supposedly slow, no handles, but can shoot. He developed into the player he is (and its no secret I'm a fan).

I said Gelos demeanor, fundamentally sound game, no flash, SOLID defense (hes no elite defender but who tf is on draft day?), and ability to shoot the ball is what made him seem like a POOR MANS KLAY.
