Absolutely.

The mainstream media has stockholm syndrome too. They had their big heads and anchors have lunch with Trump about a week or so ago. Right after he called them the enemies of the American people. Then he gave his address to Congress and all the networks kept talking about how presidential he was and all that BULLSHID.

They really have no shame. And its obvious that Trump knows he can play them and the Democratic establishment like a damn fiddle. They don't stand in opposition to him or the GOP on substantive terms. How can they when they're in bed with the same masters?

You hit the nail, even though trump is exposed he's exposed everyone else with him, and the corporate media doesn't know how to react to that.

They would've have to beat him to the punch, he's just as exposed as everyone else, but he has no issue with bringing up the issue with other candidates( ie clinton foundation.). But they screwed that up by not addressing that when trump was a early candidate, I think (although I hope not) that's why all the russian connections won't stick, everyone's going to look stupid for not addressing this earlier (due to everyone high off of trump's fukkery) and trump is good at misdirecting (ie lying and exaggerating false issues) and trump knows how to manipulate the media (which the article addresses) .

to me, it's a pretty fukking good explanation connecting the dots from the silver-spoon billionaire con-man to "regular working-class" (aka low-information republican voters) folks. i didn't think about that angle before this. but it actually makes a lot of sense.

it holds even more weight when you think about how we got here.

fox, the 'right-wing' and beyond that, the "alternative" news media has been vilifying the "msm" for years now. peddling all kinds of shyt contrary to the official story, no matter what it is. bad news is end of the world, good news is written off as propaganda, building up all that distrust. and not only that, but there's been a republican push for treating government like a business and a simultaneous glorification of absurdly wealthy people as "job creators" as if they're these altruistic patriots just trying to help out the little guy by giving them a paycheque. plus there's also some major pushback against political correctness...

fukk, i'm too drunk to flesh my thoughts out completely. i'll leave at that for now. :mjlol:

Never gave out so many daps in my life :wow:

You had Bill Clinton out here during the election shytting on Obamacare :dead:

Not to mention Hillary lost to Obama in 2008 trying to flank him from the center and lost, then the Dems turn around and run her :dead:

All this talk about Berniebros when more Bernie supporters voted for Hillary than Hillary supporters committed for Obama as a percentage of primary voters :dead:

You're contradicting yourself either because you have no goddamn clue how to strategically ask for anything, or you're limited to analysis, not proposal.

I mean, if you wanna be the Higher Learning version of the Jane's Information Group or STRATFOR, go ahead, but you're a terrible read when it comes to laying out a future of policy or having any insight into getting shyt done.

Its why this all has this sort of nihilistic tinge for you.

You want so much of the democrats, instead of fukking supporting them.

No wonder you won't lift a fukking finger to wave it at Il Cheeto, you're too busy interlacing your digits around his baby carrot :wow:
