True, feel every song, all had it's place.

Well it seems these are the Top 3 songs people throw rocks at:

Nasty Boy
Another
Playa Hater

Nasty Boy and Another was geared towards the ladies so of course dudes wouldn't feel them that much but ask any female, they think both songs are Classics especially Another with the back and forth with Lil Kim. "Nasty Boy" really blazed up the clubs and it was remixed 9 years later and became "Nasty Girl" and went #1 international so that shows you how Big's verses stood the test of time. Playa Hater was for comedic purposes, they weren't even being serious. Everything else seems either good to Classic. This is why I laugh when people say, "LAD had too much filler". Really? It was 24 songs, 1 intro and 1 interlude that makes 22 songs. It's the shortest double LP in Hip Hop how did it have so much filler with such a short track listing and it also didn't have as many features as other rap double albums.

17th Anniversary Coming up this year and it's still being bitten and sampled in today market (See Drake and Kendrick last albums). Timeless album. I hope they release a 20th Anniversary addition in 3 years.
Haven't listened to "Nothing was the same" what is the reference(s)?

He took Ma$e bars from "Mo Money, Mo Problems" which was Big's song. I think there was another reference too. Kendrick's reference was from "The Recipe" which takes bars from "Going back to Cali".

"Playa Hater" is a dope song and best out of the three. I know they sampled something but the melody is nice, genuinely funny and is rather fitting in the context of the album. Also read this  at puffy:

"Playa Hater"
Produced by Puffy and Stevie J.
Stevie J. "Playa Hater" was done with Ron Grant from the Blue Angel band. The studio was located at 321 west 44th, but the Blue Angel [strip club] was right next door. There was a band that used to play there, a whole bunch of hot brothers, they just was nice. I was like, "Y'all wanna record something with me?" Me and Puff brought 'em right upstairs and we did it like in one take. The crazy thing was Big singing. He wanted to do a whole album of ballads. He wanted to call it Big Ballads.
Lil' Cease That was us in the joint. We high and we singing it, and we playing the vocals. And Puff come and changed the whole shyt. That was some bullshyt. When we heard it on the album we're like, "This nikka done erased all over our shyt." Puff used to fight for a lot of shine. He wanted to be famous.

RTD - 15 songs (Intro and Interlude make 17 songs)
LAD - 22 songs (Intro and Interlude make 24 songs)

LAD wasn't that much bigger than RTD in song count honestly it's just RTD feels more cohisive than LAD.

For me, Playa Hater was a light hearted comical joint, no issues with it. Really feel Another... I like that joint, male and female argument, that's pretty raw, was dope to me. Nasty Boy was funny, always remember the skit at the beginning too lol. Nasty Boy and Playa Hater aren't the best songs on the album but there far from bad to me, and Another I really feel a lot.

Yeah I get what your saying, Life After Death an amazing album to me. I think it's one of Hip Hop's elite albums.

Great album that was damn near ruined due to the number of skits Puff put on there AT THE BEGINNING of the tracks. Put them shyts at the end of the previous song so i can press skip once and get to the next hit. The way the album is set up you have to hold FF for 15 seconds on each track to skip that bullshyt.
