For the past couple of months I've been coming across a lot of stories were children were getting hurt mentally and/or physically. This is def my weak spot. It doesn't matter what race the child is, i feel sick to my stomach hearing about this, yes even cac's, and i feel obligated to do something.

I even threatened to call CPS on a close friend when seeing his house and son for the first time . His son nearly had dreads from not combing , feet where black from dirt, teeth where rotten etc. The house had dirt and trash all over , even the knocks ( iceheads) where cleaning up while waiting for their dope. Im showing up this thanksgiving week to make sure its clean. smdh.

Anyways, i got hired to be a mentor at a all Native High School/ Boarding school. These kids come form different states to have a chance to succeed in education. They live on campus and are basically on their own. My job is to motivate and guide them to chase a STEM degree. I will be 100% solo on this mission. These kids come form a harsh up bringing , and have little drive to be successful.

I start next week , pretty excited . If you got any ideas, post em . I will keep this thread updated.

One thing that always keep me in check, even when I wandered from the 'right' path was to keep goals in mind. If you can get people to visualize their future and realize the power they have over it, they can achieve anything. From iceberg slim to napoleon hill, one thing is consistent. The way to success is repetition, focus, and positive energy.
