It’s hard to compare the 2 albums. GKMC is pretty much K.Dots Illmatic meaning it takes place during Kendrick teen adolescent years. This makes the album a little more nostalgic to our younger years which were fun and wild. LIG takes place in a much more mature time of Nas’s life so a lot of people haven’t gotten too that part of their lives yet. This might make it boring to the younger crowds but pure fire to the older posters. Both are dope anyway you look at it but I have to say GKMC is better because its more complete. LIG had some tracks Def Jam through in that doesn’t fit…

Now that GKMC has sunk in, I only listen to 4 songs; Peer Pressure, Money Trees, Good Kid, and Mad City. Every now and then I'll bump The Recipe and Black Boy Fly, which aren't even on the album (bonus cuts). Life is Good is better production wise and lyrically (of course). GKMC flows better but honestly the story isnt all that great. But its his life so its cool. The Fake Andre 3000 voice is just terrible, and blatant. LIG >>

I liked both, but I wasn't listening to LIG very much after about a week. GKMC won't leave my rotation any time soon

GKMC for me easily. Life Is Good is nice, but there is very low replay value for me. The songs are good on there, but I just have no desire to hear them anymore. I was done with it after a couple days, but I still play GKMC everyday like it just came out.

Both are PHENOMENAL albums and full of replay so the choice is kinda hard.

But I'm do it with a bitter heart and vote for GKMC. It has more plays than LIG and it flows better. Mary J Blige ruined Reach out to me....
