You ever realize how absurd life is? Absurd in a philosophical/existential sense. You ever think about death? You ever think of how mathematically precise things have to be to get to that point? A person car jacks another person and murders him in a struggle over the gun. Two men. Different ages. Different circumstances. Different frame of reference. But this exact moment the universe puts them in the same place. What sort of eventualities (man made or natural) could have altered this course? What if the city decided in a meeting to make the traffic lights a few seconds shorter. What if it would have rained that day?
What if the killer was about to get a job offer but HR decided to wait an extra day?

A couple months ago a multi-car accident occurred at an intersection that I had passed less than 10 seconds earlier. Some chick ran a stop side and drove directly into 40 mph traffic....hit a car and a van.

I remember running a yellow light a half mile away before I got there. Imagine if I decided to wait that light out (a short traffic light).....I could have been smacked from the side.
