A veteran police investigator and law attorney gives a lecture to explaining why nobody should talk to the police. The lecture is split into about 7 parts, i just started it here because the attorney talks too fast :scusthov:

No matter if you are 100% innocent, anything that leaves your lips can only be used against you in court, it can never help you, friends. Anything that a police officer hears you say to be used in your defense is thrown out under hearsay.

If you're driving 70 in a 55, and you get pulled over and the cop asks you how fast you were going, and you say 60-62 ish to make it sound less serious, you just confessed to speeding over 55, friends

No matter how simple the question is, plead the fifth

See I throw parties at my school in my apartment. So sometimes I gotta kind of work with them to keep the party going. It's usually the bytches who are too loud and not the music, cuz I handle the speakers. Ive never gotten shut down by 5-0 so far. It's the security guards who are the bytch ass nikkas around here.

If the cops stop you or you're under arrest, the only info you have to provide is your name, address and date of birth. After that, you shouldn't say anything to them. Don't touch them or make any sudden movements either (it sounds obvious but its different when you're in the situation).

Never, ever consent to a search of yourself, your house, or your car. Even if you say no, they may search anyway so don't try to physically prevent them from doing it, but don't consent. Judges don't like when cops make unjustified searches and you may even get it thrown out in court.

A big problem is people mouthing off to cops or getting an attitude with them. They can literally use anything you do or say to screw you later on, so always stay calm. Tell them you're invoking your right to remain silent, and then keep your mouth shut. Sometimes people get real brave around cops when they know they're innocent, but that isn't going to help you.

Just ask for a lawyer, keep your gotdamn mouth closed, and never consent to a search.
