When it comes to the music, we just wanna here some dope shyt, take yo time, when it's the real deal you know you gotta wait
As far as the gems just shyt dealing with these females to keep a young nikka from not getting played, Life shyt. What do you when you lack focus and direction?
The first gem I'll give you (only because I've seen quite a number of your posts) is to stop focusing on women. Not saying you are, but if getting played is a major concern, then your focus already in the wrong place. fukk these bytches, breh. I did a lot of fukking up behind females, and for the most part, you've got to realize how SMALL you are, not only in this universe, but to these women who already are at a natural advantage in finding life partners/fukk buddies/relationships. With social media, the playing field will NEVER be even. You'll never get a million likes for a selfie, captioned "look at my new glasses" when it's apparent you're showing off your chest & ass. (n/h) With that said, the realization of the relative smallness of a role you play in these broads you're pursuing heads, will force you to refocus your energies back into yourself. Once you do that, you realize just how BIG you are. Once you realize how BIG you are, and practice restraint with everything from liking pics, to wasting time pursuing p*ssy just because you WANT it, you can begin to focus on YOUR WANTS FOR YOURSELF, your goals, and objectives.
Women smell that shyt a mile away. A focused man, a dedicated, driven man, gets p*ssy thrown at him left & right, regardless of how you look. The potential financial, mental, and sexual stability (the trifecta) that a man with a plan possesses, FAR outweighs those of a man who without one, who comes off as more focused on p*ssy. It's like smelling blood, they'll come flocking. From that point, the choice in women is totally up to you, and the chances of getting played are minimized. You can still get played, but albeit for other (financial, most likely) reasons. Another thing I suggest is listening to Banks. Call it stan shyt, but joints like "Keep Your Cool", "Hate You More", "Tour Stories", and "Keep Up" deserve to be in a museum somewhere. Check the lyrics out sometime. Any time I don't really have the time to invest deep thought into situations involving women, hearing those joints just keeps me on my toes, and focusing on the large picture, opposed to the current "in my face" situation. Maybe I feel strongly about it because I DIDN'T have a constant male influence, but there's nothing wrong with drawing positive, focused inspiration from anywhere you can get it.
When you lack focus and direction, no one outside of you can GIVE it to you. Sometimes it literally takes hitting rock bottom (as in my case) to find that for yourself. The will to live, and succeed has to outweigh the will to stay in your current state. Then, and ONLY then, will it change. No one can do it for you, so I won't even bother giving you advice. There's a bevy of inspirational quotes, men and women who inspire, and literature to draw inspiration from, but when you're down & out, not even that can save you sometimes. It takes that rock bottom, or the potential for you to hit rock bottom, to get YOU to finally see what YOU been missing out on the whole time, and who you can be. Once you're headed back up though, it's easy to plateau, or stop elevating at a consistent pace, so you have to constantly remind yourself of that low point. Even in the good times...to stay motivated. Otherwise you're wasting everybody's time, including your own. And TIME is the most valuable thing in life, outside of family. (In most cases)

and good luck on your journey homie. I know a thing or two, but I ain't got all the answers, Sway.
How did you get your job? Did they do a background check?
Through trial & error, what I've found is that felony or not, WHO YOU KNOW is more important than what you know, or what you did. If you can prove to an interviewer that you're worthy, or that you have a decent resume (or, in my case...can spruce one up extremely well, work history gaps & all), then all it takes is you utilizing your connections & relationships to put yourself in a better position. The job I'm currently at, and the one I'm currently looking at, takes felons. Not on some "we WANT felons" shyt, but my homie who has a felony works there. That's all I needed to know. He has a great relationship with the owner of the company, which helps as well. Came home a little while after I did, but already possessed the prerequisite CDL to get into the job.
Certain employers, by NO means will hire a felon though. Even if they like/fukk with you. In some cases, it's just too risky, or a zero-tolerance policy for anyone with a record. Which is unerstandable. But for all the ruckus about taxpayers money going towards housing inmates, nothing is really done to put people like me, (or less fortunate people, with less skills and people-skills) to keep them laced with the basic necessity of employment/steady income. So when they resort back to what they know, breaking the law, it only ends in more fukkery. It's like shooting yourself in the foot before hopping on the treadmill, expecting to burn calories. Counterproductive as fukk.
There's a LARGE demographic of perpetually unemployed, perpetually locked up men and women in this country, who contribute VERY LITTLE to this economy, and do more harm to it than good. Some of it's the lack of options/the laws fault, some of it's the individuals' fault. But I'm willing to bet the house that if even 50% of all unemployed felons were given or helped better, with adequate, stable work...A large portion of this economy would recover greatly. Think about it, cheap(er) labor to build this country back up and contribute to growth economically, while also curbing spending on "rehabilitation" projects like prisons & jails. But the fact that the prison industrial complex is something that is extremely lucrative for the government, yet extremely taxing on the average taxpayer, should tell you something.
