Darkskin women are made fun of for being too dark and lightskin women are told they aren't black or get bullied by darkskin women because they are lightskin. Both have struggles, can we give this shyt a rest now?

Meanwhile in real life some black american families have that some of their children will come out lighter and darker than their other children. Once again you can't expect to have a decent conversation with ignorant people.

Because it affects black people. Yeah I read everything you wrote. I understand there's colorism on both sides but do you understand the implications of making fun of a black person for being too black? If somebody is making fun of a person for being too black they're devaluing them for being too black which means a black person is less valuable then a non-black person even in the eyes of their own community. It's a form of white supremacy being perpetuated by black people.

I agree. People don't need to understand their mind state Although I don't think talking about it on prime time television is the answer. We should all want our women and children to live emotionally and psychologically healthy lives. And this ignorance does affect black people. So until the leaders of the black community take control of their media the same dead horse will continue to be beat.
My whole point was to stop this discussion all together and stop dividing ourselves. If we did that there would be no documentary being put on TV.
If a nikka dont like a darkskin woman and instead dates a lightskin woman, well at the end of the day its the mans choice what he wants to date. Calling him out and getting mad at women he likes will never change the outcome. And why would you want it to change? Why would you want to date a nikka like that after he has exposed his character?
