But there is a BIG problem with putting light bright and damn near white on a pedestal.

At that point is when that person needs to be checked.

Problem is black men seem to have a problem checking other black men for fear of being called a simp.

On an individual level recognize the way colorism afftects darker skinned women and black women as a whole, and don't just dismiss them as being insecure.
Call out your friends and family members when you see them perpetuating colorism.

are playing the dumb game where all black men are rappers now? we all know chris brown and lil wayne to check them on some lyrics? y'all have a much bigger issue when it comes to media promotion and how you're viewed in movies and television. but you still haven't offered any viable solutions on defeating colorism amongst black males (since colorism amongst black women is still okay)

I have disdain who don't do ish but behind the skirts of women while dissing them at the same time.
I am sick of black women taking the disrespect to put a front of unity against white people. Black men who stand against black women are the equivalent of racists in my eyes and should be dealt with accordingly.

okay, so we get black men to shut up about their preference. how doesl that end colorism or their preference towards lighter skin? black women seem to ignore the whole white owned media engine that promotes light skinned/non-black women over black women daily.

and for like 5th time, blaming color alone is a scapegoat. its features, FEATURES, if you take a precious looking chick and turn her white, nikkas aint going to be attracted to her.
