This is true unfortunately and I hate it. While its not all black women or all lightskinned black men who get this its too common. I hate how some black women say "I dont do light brights theyre too pretty for me." as if skin color determines character.

We aren't in the jungle though. And women created "tall dark and handsome" so ultimately lighter skin being seen as masculine is their own doing. It just backfired on em.

I only said that to say it's a NATURAL INSTINCT for women (and people in general) to choose and look to taller people. So to say it's anything like a skin color preference is off.
