He must have been Asian then
UCLA will take him for the attention it'll bring the school, watch.
I'm a genius, bro. Trolling is the type of shyt **** does. The Coli is the Home of Sports, Hip Hop and Piff (whatev tf that is). I have a PhD from Yale, a Masters in Culinary Arts from Everest, and a Bachelors in Food Coloring from Leavenworth Federal Penitentiary. I also recently completed parole with honors and was the first person in American history to be removed from a sex offender registry due to having good hair and Indian in my family. Let's not even get started on my assortment of certs.on one hand you could be a genius on the other you could be a troll? Hmm![]()
Hes not even semi famous though.Given his background, he's gon have to do a lot of remediation to succeed in college. A lot of black kids never develop the necessary skills and discipline to succeed in that environment. They'll get a lot of generic advice about success, when they really need concrete guidance from mentors. He should find one if he's serious about this.
For those saying he can't get admitted: A lot of the big name colleges admit students on the strength of their extracurriculars. Being semi-famous can earn you a spot at a school like UCLA.
I was gone bring that up too but OP had already put it.
That was really cool of the sway in the morning fam to push him to finish school.
They better throw that party for him too like they promised
I sort of wondered the same thing. Think of the colleges famous actors and actresses attend. Almost always Ivy League. Maybe they all had the grades ... Or maybe they got credit for their work in their field. Same for standout athletes.
Shouldn't be any different for rappers.
thats my nikka I always told him "Bibby u intelligent u could be a president" but he rather be a dope boy, he really loved sellin shyt

Of course but that isn't what gets the attention though.
USC has the better girls, more visibility, better connections, better sports programs over the last 15 years, etc.
This is true to extent and has slowly changed over the past years. UCLA has upped it's percentage of out-of-state students significantly over the past 5 years as they hope for the out-of-state fees to help with the deficit. It's gaining on Berkeley/Michigan/UNC when it comes to the out-of-state acceptance rate over the recent years. As with any other halfway decent university IF you are from California you have a solid chance of getting into UCLA. Also, if you can't get into it right away, you can always go to community college for two years and then transfer. They will accept you if you did okay in community college. They love transfers. Also, you gotta be going to a California CC as over 90% of the transfer students will be from California. They have pacts with the local CC's. Every state is like this.
People saying it's super difficult to get into UCLA are correct in a way.. because so many people apply but if you are in-state you are going to get into one of the big state schools. The government has to see to it that in-state students are getting in or else why the fukk would people from California want to help fund it?![]()
Breh, you're out of touch.
UCLA is one of the most well-known, visible schools in the world aside from Harvard, Stanford, Yale, Berkeley, and a few others. We have a full-fledge clothing line in the UK (ShopStyle UK) and UCLA stores in Asia (UCLA merchandise gains popularity in overseas markets, brings home big profits | Daily Bruin). I've sat on a bus in London and met someone casually wearing a UCLA shirt. The "California lifestyle" definitely helps with this when it comes to international students and UCLA sells that. Besides African-Americans, UCLA always is the more popular choice between the two for superficial reasons - beautiful campus, not in the "hood" (which screams cism btw), closer to the beach, etc.
When it comes to sports, we have more championships than any school in the nation and average one championship a year. Check the facts, UCLA is a blue blood in most sports not named Football or Baseball.
USC definitely has the better looking girls overall. I used to believe USC had better connections after graduating, but I've found out that's not true at all now that I've been out of college for a while. I know Trojans that are struggling to find a job as much as my peers who I graduated with. If you know how to network, you know how to network. College helps, but the introverts who aren't in the sciences or engineering tend to stay jobless because they didn't know how to talk to people outside of the classroom. That doesn't have to do with the school moreso it has to do with the individual. This comes from someone who has family/friends who've graduated from both schools. UCLA definitely is the less cool school when it comes to the black community, but it dominates outside of that.
underrated post :xzgrin:thats dope, has chief keef announced where he will be attending school yet?

Oh yeah, I agree with this. Tbh, if you're a black kid from the inner city who has good grades, you should go to a private liberal arts college. They're the most generous when it comes to covering low-income students fees. They still have to accept transfers though. That's part of the deal with the government. UCLA accepts funding but then has to accept so many transfers. Community colleges operate on the idea that if you do well there you can get into a place like UCLA and it's good for UCLA to have students who they know will be part of the graduating class.
It's smarter for most people to take that two-year hit anyway. CCs are cheap as fukk and you might even get through those two years for free. Do well there and get your associates, places like UCLA will be letting you in.
