the city (manhattan) really is overwhelming to the senses
when I moved away I hadn’t been back to the city in about a good 3-4 years
visited BK once in a while but stayed out the city
went back for a funeral...took the “chinese” bus
friend picked me up...we had to go up to times square to pick something up real quick
man I got out the car and was just floored...like I’d never been there in my life
mind you I’d lived in NYC for 30 years and been to the city on numerous occasions
but I just forgot how immense that shyt was after living in a much smaller city for just a few years...shyt was staggering
if this is his first time there I can imagine him easily being blown away
I sorely miss that buzz/energy

From Chicago and went to NYC in Feb 2019 for the 1st time. Very impressive city.....obviously a top-3 global city....just the steel and concrete mountainous skyscrapers. The Hudson, the geography, the history. If i get on my IT bread i might have to move to Hoboken
