perspective is important.
The property tax construct in general is a scam and we know that. the tax rate there is almost a 3rd of what I pay on my property and the value of the land is so much lower. 850 a month for all that. I can cover that for future generations.

I mean.... there are places you can go where there won't be any formal property tax to pay; or wherein there would be easier ways to avoid payment.
But I get the feeling once you see what amenities and luxury you lose by living in those countries, you might switch up and decide to stay here and just bytch and moan instead.
But if its on GP... I mean, get a passport and work out your citizenship. It's not out of reach if you just hate taxes like that. System is imperfect like everything in America, Im just not so sure that many have the stomach for some of the alternatives. Props to you if you do though. Dual citizenship + remote work might be the new wave if everything keeps going to shyt in the U.S. People searching for lower costs of living.
