These look like exactly what I thought they were, in Jamaica we call them plums. Hog plums to be specific and we eat them half ripe when yellow and turning red or red. They are kinda tart but delicious. The Trini's use them mostly green to make something called plumchow, which is a snack.@Caca-faat
