As far as collabs, they was 1-1 (while biggie was alive) biggie outshined jay on Brooklyn's finest, jay did better on I love the dough.

As far as overall, jay imo has never left earth lyrically like biggie did on life after death.

Btw I remember reading a interview where biggie actually did admit he wasnt the best at the moment but the 2 lyricist he claimed was better than him was method man and nas.

Hov didn’t approach the type of dynamic fluidity with the flow and sheer mic presence that Big had till the early 2000s...and even then, his peak in that regard was like Big’s baseline ...lyrically Jay has him, but there’s no telling how Big would’ve evolved..Jay seemed to be drawing from more substantive depth, and had to “dumb it down”....big was young as fukk and we never got to see how he would’ve matured :mjcry:
