You can't front on Cease's voice, with the right mentoring, Cease was destined to be a star. Dude had the appeal as well as the production would've been on point had BIG picked his beats and set him up with the right features. Actually i would think that he would've had a "Harlem world" type of debut like Mase's. It's a shame how one man's death can impact a lot of lives and what could've beens and what not.

you can see the hit potential in some of his joints. Even Dr. Dre complimented Cease on his debut album saying he heard a lot of hit joints on it.

BIG would've made sure his lyrics and image were well-put-together and that he had bonafide hits ready to go... BIG got people to buy that Jr. MAFIA album and most of them nikkas were trash. Cease actually had personality and was the only JM member outside of Kim that anyone knew shyt about- BIG would've overseen that project and handled it better than it was.

That video of him from Cocaine City in like 2005 still haunts me.....That shyt came out of nowhere :snoop: I think Cease did exactly what he would have, more or less, in the narrow window between his first solo and the decline of rap as a viable commercial genre for C list artists like him, he maybe could have gone plat one more time.
