That is ridiculous. No, it's not a "black problem" in the sense that only black americans should care about it. It should be a problem that any moral person should be able to understand. This is like saying the Civil Rights Movement should have only concerned Black Americans and that MLK was wrong for making it a national embarrassment.
b-b-b-b-but nelson mandela ended racism in south africaIts 2014 and people are still referencing MLK and their integrated, colorless dreamworld utopias
Make it about them?btw...i didnt watch the interview cause i honestly could care less.
leave it up to white people to somehow make an issue regarding systematic racism against black people by the polkce about them.
if they cared about equality or justice it would of been obvious that they would of tried to change things to promote that.Make it about them? Its already about white people since white people are the oppressors.
We do not need white involvement in these issues. They are ours and we don't need their validation or sympathy. I couldn't care less about white celebs opinions on Ferguson.
How?if they cared about equality or justice it would of been obvious that they would of tried to change things to promote that.
since inequality is a basic tenet of white supremacy (racism) it obviously goes agajnst what the status quo wants.
that's why i'm agreeing with everyone that says...it's not for them to talk about cause they could care less as long as the penduluum continues tk swing in their direction.

Oppressors dont stop oppressing just cause they feel bad. it goes against the nature of the power structure they built up in the first place. How?
Right so how is using your status as a public figure with influence to speak out against these continued injustices a negative thing?Oppressors dont stop oppressing just cause they feel bad. it goes against the nature of the power structure they built up in the first place.
Racism doesnt use logic or reasoning or emotion. it's all about self-preservation in the end. hence the reason darren wilson...an obvious cold blooded murderer has been protected and given funding for his "deeds of (in)justice".
racism doesnt die...it evolves. certain words and laws get changed and replaced with something else that achieves the same effect without being seen as visibly racist. schools are stoll segregated in 2014...more than 50 years ago. nyc heralded as a liberal mecca has the most segregated schools im the country. black unemployment is staggering. indetured servitude from black laws turned into rockerfeller drug laws. gentrification is serving the duty of those that wanted to change the make up of their neighborhoods post white flight to make them "safe" (ie less black) for others. the more things change the more things stay the same.
