Not that @StackMoney needs backing up or anything because he is right but a lot of other areas really developed and people learned they could move out to Riverside or San Bernadino, shyt even Anaheim where they have nicer houses in generally nicer areas with better jobs.

Wikipedia can't share that because it's not written by someone who grew up in the area since the 80s.
