What do you consider blowing up? Im not saying you have to compete with Katy Perry on the charts, but if you want to say a certain artist is blowin up he should have some sort of radio prescence. These guys aint even on urban radio. And if his fanbase is so crazy why is he putting yet another mixtape. Drill music will never be as big as trap. Their is no melody to it, and everybody raps off beat. It's like the punk rock of rap. It will always be something that nerds and losers latch onto in order to feel tough or authentic.

Punk is rock music for people who can't play their instruments or sing. Drill is for people who can't create melodies or write decent lyrics. It's an apt comparison.
