people hear alot about chicago on the news, but few outside of the city actually know what is going on. in chicago there are two gang alliances, the Folk Nation and the People Nation. The nations have been at war since the 70s when they were created, and also each deal with a whole lot of internal strife and beef, but alot of the gangs in each nation have been at eachother since the 50s, most of Chicago's gangs and gang rivalries are older than more famous ones like the bloods, and crips. Lil Durk and like everyone in his camp are Black Disciples or BDs of the "3hunna" set, and one of their main rivals is a gang called the Mickey Cobras, specifically the "051 Young Money" set specific which stays around where Durk's manager got killed, so they are the gang that is for sure behind the murder of Lil Durk's managers murder, and theyve been trying to kill Lil Durk for awhile as well. 051 Mickey Cobra's also killed LA Capone, another one of Durk's friends and another prominent Chicago rapper, around the same street i believe. this shyt is deeper than rap, the gangs have been beefing since like the very early 60s

i actually dont think he was IN the gang, but jesse was affiliated and worked with several chicago gangs in the 60s. this is a pic below of him with two founders of two of Chicago's largest street gangs, Jeff Fort in the middle founded the Black P Stones, and Mickey Cogwell on the right founded the Mickey Cobras
