Lil' Flip - King Life

Haven't listened to a full length Lil' Flip release since 2010 or 2011, but some of these features have me interested. Will eventually listen, I just hope the beats are at least up to par since I haven't messed with his flow change

Listened to a bunch of songs from the first disc and second disc, and this is probably the best Flip has sounded in a very long time.

The first disc is pretty meh. There’s not more than 4 songs I feel from there.

The second disc though, I was VERY surprised at what I heard. I would have been fine with this album being solely the second disc. There’s some standout production on here. I really rock with maybe 9 of these, which is way more Flip songs than I’ve liked in a very long time. I always thought his storytelling had gotten better since his peak years, but that his actual flow got worse, so this album is a pleasant surprise. Not mad at it.
