I used to listen to Flip back in the day, but there are two things I think about when I hear Flip. The struggle bars, "Ill treat you like milk and do nothing but spoil you" and "I'll cut off your head/Duck tape it to your leg." :ld:

Indeed... but Houston had a hell of a run from '02 to '07, got my first car around that time and loaded it up with 2 '12s... all I banged was that Houston shyt, especially those classic double disc albums where the 2nd CD was chopped up :blessed: In my opinion that was the last time rap music was truly innovative

I miss 2005 that was a great year. Slim Thug dropped his debut, Paul Wall dropped his, Chamillionaire dropped his, Z-Ro put out Let The Truth Be Told, Pimp C's Sweet James Jones Stories dropped, even Mike Jones album was a banger too. It was great because the sound down there wasnt sounding like nobody else. S**t was unique.

Hell yea bruh between them Houston nikkas you named and the Atlanta scene with TI/Gucci/Jeezy and Memphis with 8 Ball, MJG, Yo Gotti, Triple 6, Young Buck got dam everybody was eatin good in '05... shyt really fell off hard since then :wow:
