I REALLY need to stop coming into threads like this. You dudes almost got me kicked out of this chicks house today

Long story short:
I've been up all day cooking, and I was tired, but I went over to this girl's house and she offered me a plate of turkey that had looked like it had been butchered (the "leg" she offered me needed some baby lotion), some dressing, some greens, and a bunch of other shyt TBD, and as soon as I laid eyes on that plate, without thinking I say "I'm good on the struggle plate"

... She looked @ me like "

." I swear I didn't try to be purposely ignorant and say that shyt, but after stuttering & stammering a bit, I further clarified that I had already eaten and just said "no thank you."
It's amazing how this place -- whether it be directly, or indirectly -- can shape some of the shyt that you say in everyday life

After seeing that plate tho, I'm just thankful on this Thanksgiving day, that I had gotten out of there with my life
