This shyt is high key trash with like 2 good songs. Lucky it's short. Rip pop but he could've came harder.

I respect this he’s speaking pure facts

:patrice:

You think it would be good Polly for French to post his album after all that cloud promo he did....

Also in New York for you to get others to collaborate I think you need to be rapper who has enough clout to guarantee a #1 or a top 5-10 like a 50 in his prime or a drake or you gotta be a respected vet like Jay-z , nas .. maybe fat joe or asap ..possibly max..

:yeshrug:

You would know better

In 2017 Jay Critch and A-Boogie should have done a track both on the come up and hottest in the city.

A-Boogie should embrace his sons (Tjay, Tecca, TJ Porter, JI, Smoove L, Jay Gwuapo) the same way Thug does with those Atlanta artists that he inspired.

Cardi B being from the same hood and being a label mate should have something with A-Boogie. There’s this chick named Melii from East Harlem that she’ll never embrace because she is way more talented than she is. But Cardi will sure co-sign some Flo Milli chick from Alabama.

A$AP Mob just seems to do their own thing they’d work with a Tyler The Creator or Nav before artists from the town. Imo a Pro Era and A$AP Mob project should have happened.

Brooklyn scene is divided by gang lines there’s nothing you can do there.

Dave East and Don Q got plenty of tracks but they should have a collab tape out. East is cool with everybody.

In the 90’s from what I see and heard it was the same shyt. Wu was cool with QB though but for the most part dudes stayed to themselves. It was the same petty KONY thing going on, subliminal dissing, real life static with entourages, Boot Camp Clik hating on Biggie.

..and the cycle repeats you would think the youngins wouldn’t make the same mistake their OG’s did with NY rap taking a tumble the last decade and change after having. A strong 2019-2020 and over taking miami/Florida on hot rap scenes.

With that clown back in action, pop dead, bobby’s release around the corner and cardi’s hiatus it’s gonna be interesting times for NY

Especially after tjay’s album and fivuos album not resonating with the mainstream.

..

Let’s see what the summer has to bring ..

NY nikkas don’t learn too prideful and tribal. Imo though the Florida wave has died down significantly with X death and Kodak inability to stay out of prison.

I wouldn’t look too deep into this EP for Tjay his actual album did fine. Zoo York also has over 2M views in just 3 days at least.

His antics and this Highbridge beef hurt him more than the music and shyt it even affected the perception of the project. It’s gonna be interesting to see how he navigated through all this because those Highbridge boys ain’t letting up.

Overall Tjay is too talented as a songwriter and unique of a vocalist he can be pop. He just needs to mature and relax on the street raps the bag and numbers for him will be with the girl records.
